Sikni Packaging Corporation is a part of the family run SIKRI GROUP OF COMPANIES. The group is based in Kolkata, India and has been in existence for more than 120 years. The group has been involved in packaging since its earliest inception. Around about 1910, Lala Jagannath Sikri. the group’s founder, came to Calcutta from Gujranwala (now in Pakistan) and started Sikri Bottle Stores, an importer and wholesaler of glass bottles and labels from Japan and Germany.
Over the decades, the group expanded into various parts of India, and different branches of the family spun off their own companies.
Sikri Packäging Corporation was established in 1993 by Madhusudan Sikri, the grandson of the group’s founder. The proprietorship firm was incorporated into an LLP in 2015, and is now headed by Mr. Manish Sikri, the son of Madhusudan Sikri. The company is situated in a self owned industrial estate in the heart of Kolkata City, covering an area of more than 3,500 square metres (35.000 Square Feet) This land had been acquired in 1931 by Mr. Jagannath Sikri. Hence, we have been at the same premises for almost 100 years.
We have over the years specialised in tea bag machines and materials, aside from other formats of sachet and pouch packing machines. We provide a single source of machinery and materials to our teabag machine customers. We export packaging machinery and materials to customers in more than 90 countries all over the world.
Sikri Packaging Corporation has an integrated factory unit in Kolkata, where we have our own facilities for critical component manufacturing, stainless steel fabrication, electronic and electrical component assembly and final machine assembly and testing.
We have similar facilities on contract in Faridabad, India and in China.
All equipment and materials go through our intensive QC checks at our main plant before being despatched to our valued customers.
